Dr. Moses McCutcheon Jr. is an Author, Educator, Trainer, Life and Career Guidance Consultant/Coach, Entrepreneur, and Seminar Leader with a Doctor of Education Degree in Organizational Leadership and Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from Pepperdine University. He is a pioneer in the fields of career/technical education and life/work planning. He develops custom-made and personalized career planning tools, materials, and programs for youth and adults. He is Founder and President of the McCutcheon Research and Founder and CEO of the School-To-Success Foundation, a 501(c) 3 nonprofit community-outreach project for the Pre-K through 12th grade educational environment.  His mission through the foundation is bridging the gap between school and a successful life—helping Pre-K through 12th grade students with their parents make career choices that take them from school to successful living guaranteed! His specialty is spiritual and human potential research specializing in organizational leadership, creative goal-setting and planning.

 Dr. McCutcheon is author of the School-To-Success series for life and career guidance. His most popular work from this series include What’s After High School for Me: Creative Goal Setting Using the School-To-Success Computer Program and What’s After High School for Me: Train-the-Trainer for Youth and Adults. Purpose—The Foundation for All Successes: Education, Career and Life” andReaching Your Full Potentialare among his most popular seminar topics. His new book: “Planning Today for Success Tomorrow” will be published in 2006.

 He has successfully conducted over 1,400 education and career-path assessments for high school students; trained and motivated more than 5,000 executives in the areas of personal development and career-related issues; taught more than 250 entrepreneurs how to write effective business plans; and spearheaded the creation of 5 entrepreneurial ventures within nonprofit corporate structures. Additionally, he was responsible for the training and management of 315 employees and an $8 million school foodservice account. He also served as business trainer and advisor for 55 foodservice sites (a $12 million operation). Dr. McCutcheon works with schools, churches, and organizations in the areas of organizational leadership and life and career guidance.

Dr. McCutcheon’s research interest is life purpose, leadership, entrepreneurship, and success. He is a member of the American School Counselor Association (ASCA), the Association for Career and Technical Education (ACTE), the California Career Development Association (CCDA), the California School Nutrition Association (CSNA), the American Seminar Leaders Association (ASLA), and Rotary Club International (the Watts Willowbrook Rotary). He is married to Aletha F. McCutcheon, a Foodservice Director who has a Master’s Degree in School Business Administration; they have a daughter, Melinda McCutcheon-Howell, and twin boys, Moses, III and Matthew McCutcheon.
